Last winter, we had the pleasure of spending an entire day inside an off-season haunted house, which also happens to be a real abandoned schoolhouse that’s allegedly haunted. We were shooting with our good friend and noted Horror Photographer, Joshua Hoffine on an ambitious photo of an entire horde of zombies attacking an all American family. He flew in J. Anthony Kosar (Winner of Season 4 of SciFi’s FACE/OFF) to physically turn 12 volunteers into hyper-realistic zombies, and brought in actor A. Michael Baldwin (from the movie Phantasm) to blow one of them away. We had a blast shooting the entire process, and one of us even got wrangled into becoming a zombie. It was terribly cold and the zombies were severely underdressed. It was also terrifying walking through the place by yourself.

To see more from the mind of Josh, visit his website at JoshuaHoffine.com. But be warned, his site isn’t for the queasy, or for those who fear ghosts, Bruce Willis, Bruce Willis as a ghost or sheer unrelenting terror.

Many years ago, when a much less entertained and easily impressed general public paid to enter Arkansas’s Dinosaur World, we’re sure it was a fun way to spend an entire summer day with the family. But today, with new technology giving us an abundance of sensational media, and modern science completely changing the way we view these extinct creatures, the once beloved Dinosaur World now sits abandoned.

We stopped by for a private tour of this decaying paradise, well on it’s way to being forgotten by time.

We spent the past week on the road shooting a commercial for the new Realtree camouflage pattern, Max-5. A couple of us went down to the Louisiana Bayou, shooting knee deep in gator infested water, while the rest of us went up to the middle of Nowheresville, ND. It was cold.

Click here to see the commercial.

In the past week, we’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response to our new website. So we thought it was time to thank Pixel Nation for putting all the pieces together and building this baby.  Also thanks to Chris Wilson for the original design. Now that the machine is oiled and we’re all linked up, we’re going to steer the Mammoth bus back down the social media road.

Our new website was recently featured on  www.Thebestdesigns.com

Hot off the press! We were recently approached by Nectar Sunglasses to create a new branding spot for their Summer Marketing Campaign. So they sent us some glasses and we did what we do best.

We had several shoots and recruited the help of countless friends.

A few years ago, Clint Fraser from Northern British Columbia Tourism asked if they could purchase the rights to some of our photos for their website. We jumped on the offer and soon formed a new friendship. A few days ago we received a package in the mail with their new T-Shirt line. They named the first set, containing screen prints of our photos, the “Mammoth Series”. We thought it was a sweet gesture, plus the shirts are super soft!

We teamed up with Bernstein & Rein to bring you the sweetest comeback in the history of ever… Hostess. We set out to simultaneously film 3 different cities across the US to capture the madness – Los Angeles, Kansas City and New York City. Our bellies were full as we followed Hostess street teams, buses and billboard artists. We covered it all, from muscle men on Venice Beach to the pretty people on Good Morning America.

While it was all going down, one of us was even filming in Africa for another project. So that week, Mammoth was truly world wide.

This week we went out to shoot a produce spot for Price Chopper, a local grocery chain here in Missouri.  It was a couple long, crazy days of shooting, but a nice change of pace for us.  It was refreshing to be out in the country and it felt good to wake up before the sun.

Keep an eye out for an edit coming soon.
