When we first found ourselves ocean bound on a Florida based sailboat a number of years ago, little did we know it would mark the moment we all fell in love with being encompassed by a vast expanse of salty water. Although the conditions were perfect, and we weren’t even on our own, it birthed a new respect for nature’s power and lack of mercy, as well as a lust for leaving land behind.
These images are now simple remnants of the past. A past that continuously reminds us of a lost but centered feeling, that only comes from a surrounding flat horizon. Keeping us looking forward to the next time we can return to the sea.
